I am an Inchbald-trained architectural interior designer working in Somerset and throughout the Southwest. Friendly and sympathetic, I specialise in working with ‘real’ people to create comfortable, easy living and working spaces – both domestic and retail. The architectural in my title does not mean that I am a fully-qualified architect but that I do have a good, well-proven knowledge of architecture, and the practical aspects of building.
Design and decorative finishes are the icing on the cake. I love colour and bring a unique eye to adding a contemporary take on a traditional building.
Listening, and then understanding exactly what clients need and want, is critical to a happy outcome. It is one of the most challenging and enjoyable parts of what I do.
Although it is wonderful to be given a ‘whole house’ project, I am equally happy to help with one room. Given the fragile times we live in, I also relish ‘makeovers’, when I am often used initially as a colour consultant.
